Acting Assistant City Manager, City of Austin
Graduate, Leadership Austin Essential Class, 2012.
“Austin will find its greatest success when we understand all sides of an issue. The issues we face—whether quality of life, transportation, economy or arts—are all integrated. If we are not doing one well, it has a direct impact on all the others.
Leadership Austin has given me an invaluable opportunity to forge connections with leaders from across the city so that we can develop workable solutions on the issues affecting Austin. These perspectives provide me a holistic view of the issues I deal with every day that I could never gain if I just stayed behind my desk at City Hall.”
