Many people might look at a property along the US-183 corridor for its commercial or economic value. The First Tee of Greater Austin (TFTGA), however, saw in this land the opportunity to transform kids and lives. The transformation of an unusable piece of land into the Harvey Penick Golf Campus was more than an investment in a place to play—it was an investment in Central Texas youth.

Watch this video to see how the Harvey Pennick Golf Campus and the game of golf are teaching kids skills that will fuel our community and quality of life.

Mike, what a great piece of the historical picture. I was reminded of "Field of Dreams" -- clearly you built it, and they came! My daughter has been involved in First Tee since the beginning of this year and it has meant so much to her. She has made friends with older girls who are great examples of confident, strong young ladies. In First Tee, kids learn as much (or more) from each other as they do from the wonderful coaches and volunteer. Hard to express adequate gratitude for what this program gives.
