The Arc of the Capital Area, a 501 (c)(3) organization, is dedicated to providing personalized, community-based services that improve the quality of life for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their caregivers.

For over 60 years we have removed obstacles for people with disabilities and given hope to their families.

With your support we can:

• Help special needs kids stay out of trouble and in school.
• • Offer families legal services to care for their adult children.
• • Provide family advocates in the local school districts.
• • Maintain the art studio and gallery to develop talents.
• • Offer social opportunities for people who have none.
