Charlotte has been the Director of College Counseling for St. Michael's Catholic Academy since 2003. Previous to this position, she held positions as a teacher in both North Carolina and Texas, as well as an attorney for Vinson & Elkins in Houston. She holds a BA from The University of Texas and a MAT, JD, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Among her honors, Charlotte served as Member and Vice President of the Eanes ISD School Board from 1997 to 2003, where she was Chair of the Curriculum and Instruction Committee.

Born and raised in Houston, Charlotte has called Austin home since 1984. She lives with her husband, Chris Knepp, former attorney at Vinson and Elkins and now ordained Presbyterian minister and teacher at Regents School of Austin, and has two grown daughters.
